Hana El-Samad named Allen Distinguished Investigator

The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation has announced its second round of Allen Distinguished Investigators, an award designed to support scientists in their pursuit of especially creative and ambitious projects.

Center Investigator Hana El-Samad has received the competitive 3-year award for her project entitled “Untangling the wires: an integrated framework for probing signal encoding and decoding in cellular circuits.” All recipients in the latest cohort of awards are focused in the areas of cellular decision making and modeling dynamic biological systems.
