Cutting Edge Systems Biology at National Centers Meeting

July 18, 2014

The UCSF CSSB, along with the San Diego Center for Systems Biology, co-organized the Annual Meeting for all of the NIGMS sponsored National Centers for Systems Biology in San Diego.

The 2014 meeting was organized to focus on the exciting science coming out of the Centers, with particular emphasis on young scientists and researchers. New this year as well were dinner discussions where Center members were mixed at each table and given a topic related to the Centers or systems biology in general to discuss as a group, which were then reported back to the whole meeting. This annual gathering provides the Centers with the opportunity to network and expand collaborations and education initiatives, and this year hosted approximately 100 attendees. To see the program for the event, please visit the National Systems Centers website.
